Through the Single Digital Map application, the responsible officer of a public urban planning department can carry out advance search and have access to more detailed information relevant to the existing legal, institutional and regulatory framework, as well as the available spatial data for the following administrative processes and activities:
•    Spatial Planning of the 1st and 2nd level (e.g. city and town plans, urban and regional planning maps, Zoning, Construction Plans etc.)
•    Terms and restrictions for building construction (Planned Land Use, height, area, number of floors etc.)
•    Civic addresses of buildings from field data collection in the urban complexes of Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion, and Trikala.
•    Detailed data of building permits on the area of the agency’s authority, either from the historical records or via interoperability with the e-Permits information system of the Technical Chamber of Greece (available in the near future). 
•    Boundaries of land parcels from the Greek Cadastre records.
•    Delineated forested areas from official.
•    Natura 2000 protected areas or special habitat protection areas from the Ministry of Environment and Energy - YPEN.
•    Property assessment zones and maps from the Ministry of Finance - YPOIK.
•    Archaeological sites or historical places from the Ministry of Culture  - YPPO).
•    Traditional settlements, traditional ensembles, or protected areas (YPEN, YPPO).
•    Census blocks from the 2011 Census (Hellenic Statistical Authority - ELSTAT).
